European FlowRider Championship (EFC) - Urgent Update

The world of Flowriding is gearing up for some exciting action at the World FlowRider® Championships (WFC) this year in Singapore Scheduled to take place on the 28th of October at Wave House Sentosa in Singapore. Sean Silveira took the number one spot, winning the 16 stop US Flow Tour in a hard fought finals competition in Utah on August 12th. He will be joined by US team members Nick Nguyen in Expert Bodyboarding and Amanda McCormick in Female Flowboarding. Asia will be selecting their WFC team at the Asia FlowRider Championships scheduled to take place on September 18th in Singapore. 



Here in Europe, we are planning a competition to put together the strongest team to send to the WFC in October. This leads us to this Urgent EFC update.



The competition venue has changed and will now be held at the Retallack Resort and Spa in Cornwall on the 4th and 5th of September. So it's the same date, the same wave, just a new location!



It has been decided that in order to maximize the potential of team Europe, the competition is to be held at the outdoor FlowRider in Cornwall, right in the heart of the UK's surfing mecca. We are expecting big crowds, board sports media and many surfing pro's to show up so the competition will be hot.  



Fear not Flow House fans as the competition circuit will return to Bedford in early 2011 with the UK's first winter competition and the first points leg of the 2011 European Flow Tour!



We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause competitors and spectators alike. Competitors that havealready entered will have their registrations carried over to the new event.
